Accessory cage handles, cheese plates, or low-hanging cable clamps protrude below the camera baseplate clearance zone. When the operator executes a steep tilt up or down, the handle strikes the tripod head casting, abruptly arresting movement.

1. Mount a 15mm riser plate or optical spacer beneath the camera cage to elevate external accessories above the tripod head perimeter.
2. Relocate protruding bottom handles and side grips to top rail or cold shoe positions that clear the fluid head geometry.
