All-Intra (ALL-I) camera codecs compress every frame independently without inter-frame temporal prediction. To maintain image fidelity without temporal compression, ALL-I recording bitrates are exceptionally high (often 400 Mbps to 800 Mbps). When high-motion recording modes or high frame rates are engaged, the data footprint expands rapidly, consuming hundreds of gigabytes per hour and rapidly filling acquisition cards and production storage.

1. Switch camera recording profile from ALL-I to Long-GOP (IPB) at a balanced bitrate (e.g., 150-200 Mbps) for non-critical b-roll, static interviews, and talking-head scenes.
