Content-Aware Fill for video synthesizes donor patches frame-by-frame or within localized temporal windows based on optical flow fields. When footage contains lighting shifts, moving grain, or slight perspective variation, the algorithm selects disparate source patches on consecutive frames. Because the underlying texture coordinates bounce rapidly between different frame samples, the filled region displays an erratic temporal boil and luminance flicker.

Actionable Fix:
1. Generate a static reference frame in Photoshop at the midpoint of the shot, paint a seamless clean plate, and feed it back into Content-Aware Fill as an anchored Reference Frame.
2. Set Content-Aware Fill Fill Method to 'Surface' for flat planes or 'Edge Blend' for moving textures, increasing temporal expansion to 3-5 frames.
3. Play the render back at 100% speed and scrub frame-by-frame across high-contrast areas to verify that filled textures remain temporally locked without pixel buzzing.

Pro Tip:
Lock down the shot using planar stabilization before executing Content-Aware Fill, apply the fill to the stabilized plate, and re-apply camera motion afterward to ensure zero temporal patch drift.
