Root Cause / Diagnostic:
Shooting with non-standard shutter speeds (e.g., 1/250s high-speed shutter vs. standard 180-degree 1/50s shutter) fundamentally changes the temporal motion blur of moving subjects. While color and exposure can be perfectly matched in post, footage captured at 1/250s displays crisp, staccato, strobing motion, while 1/50s footage displays smooth, cinematic motion blur. This temporal mismatch is immediately jarring when cutting between cameras.

Actionable Fix:
1. Apply an advanced motion blur synthesis plugin (e.g., ReelSmart Motion Blur / Motion Blur effect in DaVinci Resolve) to the high-shutter clips.
2. Set the synthetic shutter angle to 180 degrees and fine-tune motion vector sensitivity to generate realistic temporal blur on moving limbs.
3. Step through action cuts frame-by-frame to ensure that the trailing motion blur matches the physical blur characteristics of adjacent standard-shutter takes.

Pro Tip:
Always lock the 180-degree shutter rule on set (shutter speed = 1 / [2 * frame rate]) using neutral density (ND) filters to control exposure rather than ramping shutter speed.
