Transitioning from a frame hold back into normal video playback creates a stutter or duplicate-frame glitch if the resumption point starts on the exact frame frozen rather than advancing to the next temporal frame. In 24 fps timelines, playing the frozen frame twice in consecutive frames causes a noticeable momentary hesitation in subject movement. This micro-stutter disrupts visual fluidity.

Actionable Fix:
1. Advance the playhead exactly one frame past the frozen source frame before cutting back into live video playback.
2. Trim the incoming active media's in-point to match the next progressive temporal frame in the source media timecode.
3. Review the cut point using frame-by-frame stepping (right arrow key) to verify that no identical progressive frame appears consecutively.

Pro Tip:
