Packet-level channel bonding across asymmetric connections (such as fiber paired with high-latency 4G) causes packets to arrive out of order at the bonding proxy. If the reordering buffer is undersized or packet distribution weights are misconfigured, out-of-order packets are dropped by downstream ingest servers. This misconfiguration induces jitter, high retransmission overhead, and persistent stream stuttering.

1. Adjust bonding software/hardware settings to dynamic latency-weighted distribution rather than simple round-robin packet aggregation.
