Intermediate BGP routing hops and transit providers between your local ISP and YouTube's ingest edge servers can experience routing instability, congestion, or flapping. While local gateway tests and generic speed tests appear flawless, packets directed toward YouTube's RTMP IP addresses encounter severe packet loss. This upstream routing failure starves the ingest pipeline despite a perfectly healthy local network setup.

Actionable Fix:
1. Switch the encoder ingest endpoint to YouTube's backup ingest server (rtmp://[link removed]) or test an alternate ingest protocol.
2. Execute an MTR or WinMTR trace directly to the YouTube RTMP ingest hostname to pinpoint the exact network hop responsible for packet loss.
