Creators sign into Google on public or borrowed computers and fail to revoke the resulting session afterward.

Problem

Creators sign into Google on public or borrowed computers and fail to revoke the resulting session afterward.

Solution

Root Cause / Diagnostic:
During travel, live events, or conventions, creators frequently log into their channel via hotel business center PCs, borrowed creator laptops, or shared studio terminals. Failing to explicitly log out or use guest/incognito windows leaves session tokens cached in browser history, local storage, and cookies, exposing the channel to the next user.

Actionable Fix:
1. Guest Mode & Incognito Browsing Mandate: Require the strict use of Chrome Guest Profile or Incognito Mode whenever authenticating on non-owned hardware, ensuring all session data purges automatically on window close.
2. Immediate Remote Session Termination: After using any third-party device, immediately access `[link removed]` via a personal smartphone and click "Sign Out" on the remote session.
3. Post-Event Password & Token Rotation: If an untrusted machine was used during an emergency, rotate account passwords and revoke all active OAuth application tokens immediately upon returning to base.

Pro Tip:
If you must log into YouTube on a borrowed laptop or hotel PC, always use 'Guest Mode' in Chrome and use your phone to remotely sign out of that computer the second you walk away.
