Hardware thermal margins calibrated during winter or in climate-controlled rooms erode when seasonal summer heat or disabled overnight air conditioning raises room ambient temperature. A 10°C rise in room temperature translates directly to higher baseline silicon temperatures, pushing NVMe drives and spinning hard disks into thermal throttling or drive warning states.

Actionable Fix:
1. Ambient Temperature Regulation: Maintain the production editing suite and server room strictly between 18°C–22°C (64°F–72°F) using continuous, dedicated cooling infrastructure.
2. Dynamic Fan Profile Scaling: Reconfigure NAS fan speeds from "Quiet" to "Cool" or "Full Speed" mode to compensate for seasonal ambient temperature increases.
3. Drive Thermal Alert Configuration: Configure automated email/SMS alerts in the NAS operating system (Synology DSM / TrueNAS) to trigger if hard drive temperatures cross 45°C or NVMe cache exceeds 60°C.
